Life After Lockdown: Bringing Water Treatment Systems Back Online Webinar
May 27, 2020 11:00 AM Central
This session will cover how to safely bring point-of-use (POU) and point-of-entry (POE) drinking water treatment products back online as the Shelter-in-Place orders caused by the COVID-19 pandemic are lifted.
During the Shelter-in-Place orders, many buildings have sat vacant with very little or no water use. These stagnant conditions could have caused bacterial growth that will foul and potentially plug drinking water treatment systems if these systems are not brought back online properly. WQA will discuss maintenance issues which need to be assessed and provide instructions on when and how POU and POE drinking water treatment systems should be dealt with in the overall recommissioning plan for the building.
The webinar will cover special considerations by technology type, and recommended precautions to undertake these activities in a safe manner while there is still a significant risk due to the COVID-19 virus.
This webinar has been approved for 1.0 Contact Hours through NEHA.
