Earn Continuing Education From NEHA
Aimed at supporting your learning and credential needs, NEHA provides high-quality education for you to stay current and continuously improve your practice.
Courses are available in various formats so that you can listen, watch, read, or interact in ways that best suit your needs. You can claim continuing education (CE) credit for all of the following activities.
NEHA e-Learning
Members can take online courses in the environmental health and protection field for CE credit. These self-study courses include recordings from NEHA’s Annual Educational Conferences and an expanding catalog of programs relevant to environmental health professionals. Each course consists of a video recording of the instructor, the presentation, and other materials. After viewing the course, complete an online quiz, after which you can download a course completion certificate.
Each hour of course material is equivalent to 1 NEHA-approved CE contact hour with no limit on CEs obtained by this method.
Webinars and Computer-Based Training
View videos, virtual conferences, and computer-based training in the environmental health field for CE credit. You can find a variety of course options in the NEHA Store under Webinars and Partner Courses. Stay up-to-date on our upcoming virtual learning options through the NEHA Community Calendar and updates provided as a benefit of NEHA membership.
Journal of Environmental Health (JEH) Quiz
Members have the opportunity to earn CE credit while reading the JEH. Earn up to 6 CE contact hours per year by completing the six quizzes found in the JEH.
NEHA Annual Educational Conference (AEC) & Exhibition and Virtual Conferences
Earn CE credit by attending NEHA's AEC and any NEHA virtual conference.
NEHA is pleased to offer a streamlined way for our members to track continuing education in one place through your MyNEHA portal. Log into your MyNEHA account and click on "Report CEs" under the "NEHA Credentials" tab, enter the name of the course that you attended and the number of CE hours, and click "Create."
