The Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry has provided funding for the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA), Children's Environmental Health NetworkAssociation of State and Territorial Health OfficialsNational Association of County and City Health Officials, and National Center for Healthy Housing to form a COVID-19 Early Care and Education (ECE) Collaborative. This collaborative develops resources and materials to address COVID-19 mitigation in ECE facilities, including resources for both ECE providers and the environmental health workforce. 

NEHA has posted two new resources for ECE facilities: a COVID-19 assessment form and a COVID-19 checklist. These resources are meant for environmental health professionals and ECE providers to check how ECE facilities are addressing COVID-19 and other health considerations, including ventilation, cleaning, and more.
