The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will host a 50-State Conference Call on June 22, 2021, to discuss the new Retail Flexible Funding Model (RFFM). RFFM is a new funding opportunity for retail regulatory agencies at the state, local, territorial, or tribal level who are enrolled in the Voluntary National Retail Food Regulatory Program Standards (Retail Program Standards). Retail regulatory agencies not enrolled in the Retail Program Standards may also attend to gain an understanding of the funding opportunity should they wish to enroll.
The call will include information on the funding model itself, requirements for applying, estimated funding available, and timelines for the application process.
