Fortunately, Americans trust that their water is safe to drink, or that the restaurant they are eating from is clean, but they don’t consider how that happens.

The 2021 Rutgers Environment & Public Health (EPH) Program is an 8-week online course followed by a 200-hour unpaid field training internship that provides the expertise and hands-on experience you need and qualifies you to sit for the NJ Registered Environmental Health Specialist (REHS) Licensing Exam.

We will walk through the not-so-short history and learn things like: why we should be grateful for Queen Elizabeth I, how toilets have been useful in wars, and the best reasons to visit Japan and Malaysia.
