CDC and the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) will host a national call from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST on Tuesday, December 6. This call will include presentations from local health jurisdictions and mosquito control districts on Zika response activities, vector control decision making, and policy changes as well as from CDC subject matter experts on vector control, epidemiology, and laboratory capacity. The goal of the call is to foster dialogue and to support and improve the awareness of potentially impacted jurisdictions. Invited participants include local health officials, vector control experts, and national partners.
To enhance discussions, CDC encourages invited participants to share the conference information with identified jurisdictional representatives. There will be an opportunity to ask questions following the teleconference, but participants are encouraged to submit questions in advance to preparedness@naccho.org on topics or areas where additional information or clarification is currently needed.
