8 Hour HAZWOPER Refresher

Federal regulations require all employees who work on sites that may expose them to hazardous substances or health hazards receive training allowing them to work safely, knowledgeably and effectively. This one-day hands-on practical course is designed to meet the 8-hour annual refresher training requirements under OSHA's Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response regulation [29 CFR 1910.120(e)].

In addition to 0.8 Rutgers CEUs, this OSHA HAZWOPER refresher course is approved for the following credits:
NJ Health Officers & Registered Environmental Health Specialists: Rutgers University, NJAES, Office of Continuing Professional Education has been approved by the New Jersey Department of Health as a provider of NJ Public Health Continuing Education Contact Hours (CEs). Participants who complete this education program will be awarded 3.0 NJ Public Health Continuing Education Contact Hours (CEs).
NJ Licensed Water & Wastewater Operators: 8 TCHs SAFETY (Approval # 01-030201-31)
NJ Professional Engineers: 8 Continuing Professional Competency (CPC) Credits
NJ Certified Public Works Managers: 3 Technical and 2 Government
NY Professional Engineers: 7.5 PDHs (NOTE: This class may not be used to fulfill the land surveyors continuing education requirement in NYS.)
American Board of Industrial Hygiene: This event can be claimed for CM credit by ABIH Diplomates. This class can only be used ONCE per cycle (every 5 years).
